The Sustainable Uttoxeter project is a key driver in community-led action to regenerate our town for current and future generations. Like so many things, if you tackle the ‘green’ issues it filters out into other areas and cascades a wealth of benefits for linked activities, wellbeing and creates a legacy to be proud of.

Green actions deliver other benefits i.e. improved health
Greenhouse gases (GHG) are warming our planet and is causing man-made climate change. To mitigate the damage we must reduce and balance those emissions to net zero to keep the planet temperature rise within 1.5° C. If we do not keep within this trajectory our world would be devastated by the consequences..
This action needs to happen swiftly as GHGs continue to compound and grow. Our aim of Net Zero by 2030 is based on the latest IPCC report recommendations.
